VERIZON SMARTPARK ® FEATURES
Service You Can Count On To meet your total communications needs, Verizon’s SmartPark infrastructure provides a high-speed, high-capacity network utilizing pre-positioned conduit and all in-ground infrastructure. This makes it easy to order any of your network services on copper or fiber optic cable. This network is then coupled behind the SmartPark with Verizon’s 100 percent, digital switching and transmission central office technology. The Verizon backbone employs ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) digital switching with SONET (Synchronous Optical Network) rings for reliability.

Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN)
ISDN brings universal connectivity and end-to-end digital transparency to the public switched network. It offers simultaneous support of voice, data and images.

Frame Relay Service
Frame Relay is a high-speed, highly reliable data transmission service. It is also a cost-effective option for businesses that require transmission speeds of 56 kilobits per second (Kbps) and above.

ATM Service Verizon offers some of the first public ATM networks in the country. ATM is a universal technology, which unifies telecommunications and local area network (LAN) standards. It manages the transfer of voice, video and data at speeds up to 155 Mbps.

ADSL
ADSL is a new Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line technology that allows simultaneous transmission of high-speed data and a traditional voice telephone call over standard telephone line. You can make or receive a phone call or fax while surfing the Internet–eliminating the need for a dedicated line for Internet access or dial up access to your company’s LAN.

CentraNet ® Service
CentraNet Service is an alternative to a PBX or key telephone system. It gives businesses advanced calling features without the expense of equipment, space and repair service and without fear of obsolescence. When a new calling feature is developed, Verizon tells CentraNet customers about it right away.

Video Conferencing
Video conferencing enables face-to-face meetings without the cost of time and travel. Verizon offers room, roll-about and desktop video conferencing solutions at some of the industry’s most favorable prices. In addition, Verizon offers related services, from recommendations on conference room setups to creation of video presentations. For customers with multiple locations with video needs, Verizon also offers Video Bridging Services that tie the room, roll-about or desktop systems together across the country.

High Speed Internet Access
Verizon Internet Solutions provide dial-up as well as dedicated digital access to the Internet. In addition, custom services such as Web Server Storage, Web Site Hosting, E-Mail Services and Consulting Services from development to set-up are now available.

Long Distance Service
Verizon offers both intraLATA (within the local calling area) interLATA (outside of the local calling area) long distance service as well as international long distance to the most frequently called foreign countries for voice calls and offers national fast packet data services as well.

Wireless Service
In addition to standard wireless telephone service that offers special protection from cellular fraud and ensures cellular privacy, wireless data may also be available as a cellular option.
